FAARIDAH

Faaridah has studied and performed Middle Eastern dance for over 10 years under the direction of some of the best instructors in Atlanta, California, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Florida, New York and Egypt.  Her dance background includes ballet, tap, jazz and cheerleading/step team. She first fell in love with the art form in 2000 and has since found a “home” in Middle Eastern culture. What she admires most is the technique & skill involved in the dance, the opportunity for each dancer to express themselves as individuals, and the friendship and connection with all of the beautiful women whom she has danced with. Faaridah is co-owner of Atlanta Fusion Belly Dance and works mostly behind the scenes. She is certified in the Suhaila Salimpour format-Level 1 and American Tribal Style (ATS) General Skills  and Ansuya Cabaribalusion style of dance. She is a licensed Zumba instructor. She is also an instructor and member of Amoraat Dance Ensemble who perform regularly at events throughout the Atlanta area.
